The Idha Dress is all about the beauty of the artisanal cotton textile. The fabric is a true Double Ikat; it has a black base with Ivory Cross Motifs woven within the fabric by skilled artisans. The effect from a distance is almost like “twinkling stars”.
Description
The style is an elegant high-necked dress with a chesterfield front opening, side pockets and featuring a gathered longline skirt. The dress fits neatly on top then falls to a gentle trapeze silhouette. The Idha Dress is a collectible for lovers of beautiful artisanal textiles and timeless clothes.
A truly versatile piece that can be style up or down for day or evening occasions whilst always looking stylish. Artisanal unique.
For the cooler months we recommend styling over a black wool polo, tights and boots.
The Cotton Double Ikat fabric the Idha Dress is crafted from is a handloomed Ikat fabric woven on traditional timber looms by skilled weavers residing in Telangana State, India.
Double Ikat involves the process of resist dyeing on both warp and weft threads and then weaving them together to form intricate patterns.
As a company we pride ourselves on supporting artisanal products and craftspeople in the hope these ancient skills will not be lost; though threatened by the commercial power loom.
The fabric was woven exclusively for us in India. The garment was designed, pattern made and sampled in our Haberfield Studio in Sydney, Australia and then hand cut and crafted in New Delhi, India.

The Idha Dress is designed and pattern-made in our Haberfield studio in Sydney and carefully handcrafted in New Delhi, India in limited numbers to make best use of the fabric available.

AUSTRALIAN DELIVERIES
All orders over $200 are FREE of shipping charges within Australia.
For any goods under $200, a flat postage charge of $15 will be added at the checkout.
You will receive your order in approximately 2-7 working days.
INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES
Delivery to all countries outside of Australia is free for all orders over $400.
For any orders under $400, a flat postage charge of $60 will be added at the checkout.
Any duty and taxes incurred in the country of destination are the responsibility of the customer.
Delivery times vary between countries. Delivery can take from 7 to 14 working days. International orders may take up to 14 days to be delivered depending on your countries custom process.

Return Policy
We accept returns for the purpose of exchange, garment fault or change of mind.
An order can be returned within 12 days from invoice for Australian orders and 28 days from invoice for international orders.
Items must be unworn and in original condition with swing tags attached in order to be returned.
All returns must include a returns form.
Damaged, worn or altered garments will not be exchanged, credited or refunded.
You will be refunded the value of the item returned no later than 2 business days after its arrival back to the warehouse.
Postage and insurance costs of returning a garment will be at your own expense unless an item is faulty.
We unfortunately cannot accept responsibility for lost returns parcels and strongly recommend you register any packages to ensure they are traceable.
Any refunds will be made back to the means of purchase, ie credit card or gift card.
