At The Modestful, we proudly partner with a curated network of independent, values-led brands. Each brand fulfils and manages their own orders, including returns and refunds. Because of this, return policies will vary from brand to brand.
Before you order
To ensure a smooth experience, please check the following before completing your purchase:
Each product will include the specific return eligibility and timeframes the brand offers.
All final sale items are non-returnable unless faulty.
How to lodge a return
If you'd like to return or exchange an item that falls within the brands return eligibility and is unworn, unwashed, and in it's original condition with all tags attached, follow the below steps:
- Log in to your account
- Go to orders tab on the right side panel
- Click 'Request Return'
- If your order is eligible for a return you will see a button next to your item, click it to continue
- input all details and submit the request.
The brand will review your request and get in touch with you on how to send back your item.
Please note: Exchanges are only available if the brand supports them and has stock available.
Refunds
Refunds are processed by the brand after your return is received and approved. You can typically expect:
- Refunds issued within 5–10 business days of the item being received
- Refunds are returned via the original payment method
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged or you received the wrong product:
- Contact the brand directly within 5 days of receiving your order
- Include clear photos and your order number
- If you do not hear back within 5 business days, email hello@themodestful.com and our team will assist you
