The Zaha Top is an easy-fit, One Size Fits all, V-neck top with gathered details along its bustline and balloon sleeves.

Description

It is the perfect Transeasonal piece as it can be worn in the warmer months on its own and then layered over a black polo, such as our pure wool Ira Polo, in the cooler months when it looks great teamed with black pants, boots and a scarf.

The Cotton Double Ikat fabric the Zaha top is crafted from is a handloomed Ikat fabric woven on traditional timber looms by skilled weavers residing in Telangana State, India.

The base colour is Cream with Black Cross Motifs woven within by skilled artisans.

Double Ikat involves the process of resist dyeing on both warp and weft threads and then weaving them together to form intricate patterns.

As a company we pride ourselves on supporting artisanal products and craftspeople in the hope these ancient skills will not be lost; though threatened by the commercial power loom.

The fabric was woven exclusively for us in India. The garment was designed, pattern made and sampled in our Haberfield Studio in Sydney, Australia and then hand cut and crafted in New Delhi, India.
